In just one day 1224 Diabetic People from Rural and Tribal areas of Thane District were checked for problems in their eyes and kidney at Thane Town Hall on 15 June 2019. This may set a new Guinness World Record. The event was organised by Dr. Nishant Kumar of Eyebetes Foundation in collaboration with Shri Rajesh Narvekar, District Collector of Thane District.

A health check-up camp to achieve ‘Most number of Eyes and Kidney scanning for Diabetic people’ from rural areas of Thane District is being held today. This will benefit many who cannot afford to get such facilities. This will be a Guinness World Record attempt. 1224 people were scanned at the camp conducted at Thane Town Hall by ‘Eyebetes Foundation’ and Thane District Collector – Rajesh Narvekar.

A new Guinness World Record Attempt was made at Thane Town Hall by Dr. Nishant Kumar of Eyebetes Foundation and Thane District Collector Shri Rajesh Narvekar. Diabetic patients from Thane Rural and Tribal areas were transported to Thane Town Hall from their respective places. Eye scanning and Kidney screening were performed on thousands of such people totally free of cost.

Free Eye-checkup and Kidney Screening Camp for Diabetic Patients from Thane District Rural and Tribal areas is being orgnaised on 15 June 2019 at Thane Town Hall. In order to create awareness on a large scale Eyebetes Foundation and Thane District Collector has organised this free camp.

कल्याण, मुरबाड, भिंवडी, शहापूर आणि अंबरनाथ या पाच तालुक्यांमधील १५०० मधुमेहींच्या नेत्र व किडनी तपासणीच्या विशेष शिबिराचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. आयबेटिक्स फाऊंडेशन व ठाणे जिल्हाधिकारी राजेश नार्वेकर यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने शनिवारी ठाण्याच्या टाऊन हॉलमध्ये हे शिबीर होणार आहे. एकाच वेळी इतक्या मोठ्या संख्येने मधुमेही रुग्णांची तपासणी करण्याचा हा जगातील विक्रम ठरणार आहे. त्यामुळे या शिबिराची गिनिजबुकात नोंद होणार आहे. यापूर्वीदेखील ठाणे जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयाकडून विशेष शिबिराचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. त्यावेळी १०४१ रुग्णांनी लाभ घेऊन विक्रम केला होता. त्याची नोंद गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रेकॉर्डमध्ये नोंदविण्यात आली असून शनिवारच्या शिबिरात हा विक्रम तोडला जाणार आहे.

To spread awareness of this issue Dr. Nishant Kumar, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Thane District Collector, Rajesh Narvekar are jointly organising a eye-Checkup and kidney screening camp at Thane Town Hall on 15 June 2019. This event is specially orgainsed for the Diabetic patients from Thane rural and tribal areas.

ठाणे : येथील आयबेटिक्स फाउंडेशन आणि जिल्हाधिकारी राजेश नार्वेकर यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने शनिवारी मधुमेह असलेल्या रुग्णांसाठी मोफत नेत्र आणि किडनी तपासणी शिबिर ठाणे टाऊन हॉल येथे होणार आहे. जिल्हाभरातून १५०० हून अधिक रु ग्ण श्बििरात विनामूल्य लाभ घेणार आहेत. हा एक विक्रम असून त्याची ‘गिनीज बुक आॅफ रेकॉर्ड’मध्ये नोंद होणार आहे. मधुमेहींमध्ये नेत्र व किडनीचे आरोग्य याबाबत जनजागृती करण्याचा या उपक्रमामागचा उद्देश असल्याचे नार्वेकर आणि फाउंडेशनचे डॉ. निशांत कुमार यांनी सांगितले.
